Since the 1950’s, Tom Artin has been crafting fine art photographs that fully exploit the broad range of tonality the medium affords. His subjects range from landscapes, to seascapes, to portraits, florals, and still-lifes. Artin’s studio, in the Bel-Ans center in Rockland County, serves as his lightroom. Artin also travels widely, capturing light-rich studies of people and places around the world.

Artin’s sense of composition, sensitivity to subject, and attention to detail and craft coalesce to create work of the finest quality. An Artin photograph, whether it depicts a flower from his garden in Rockland County, or a scene from the streets of Paris, always possesses an honest and painterly quality that is a continual pleasure to behold.
